Review: A Game of Chance by Jon Osborne

A Game of ChanceA Game of Chance by Jon Osborne
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Well after I have read the first book of Jon Osborne, I wrote him on the list of authors I do want to read more books of, but now after this one I think it was maybe a mistake.
Did’nt really enjoy the book. The killing scenes were good though, nasty and disgusting.
But the storyline itself was lame I think.
And the whole talking about Chess and strategies and such made it boring. I do like playing chess, not in a professional way but I mention this so no one can say that this book gets bad critics only because I don’t like chess.
Well anyway, I read the book very fast, but not because I enjoyed it so much but because I wanted it to be done.
That’s never a good sign.
